We’ll meet with you before your session to help you choose the right time, the right place, the right clothes AND the right look for YOU. We don’t do cookie-cutter portraits here. We want to show off your personality and the things that are important to you.
Here are just a few of the ways we make sure your senior portraits are the best they can be:
Clothing: What you wear can make or break your senior portraits. Just like professional models get a stylist to help them choose, we’ll help you to know what will look best for your personality, your location and most importantly, your body type—but you still get the final word. We want you to look and feel your best in your portraits and we know that choosing the right clothing and accessories for your portrait session is a big part of that. We’ll also give you tips for hair and make-up, so you can be prepared for a great time and great portraits.
Time: We make time to spend with you. We’re a small studio so we’re able to allow plenty of time for our portrait sessions. We won’t cram you in between the basketball team and the French club. You don’t want to feel rushed or like a number, so we’ll make sure of that. We only photograph a certain number of sessions each month to make sure that you and your session will get the time and attention you deserve. And not only do we take time at your session, but we always make time to answer your questions, to address your concerns and to make sure your portrait experience exceeds your expectations.
Posing: Is that a four-letter word these days or what? When you think of posing, you probably think of stiff and boring. We know you want to look comfortable, relaxed and terrific in your portraits, but we also know that great portraits really do need great posing, or as we prefer to call it, great directing. And that’s what we’ll give you. We know how to direct you, so you look relaxed, natural AND amazing in every portrait.
Retouching: We know how important it is to you to look terrific and we also know that annoying blemishes tend to show up at the most inconvenient times. So we retouch everything. We retouch every pose you choose to make sure there are no blemishes, facial scars, stray hairs or eyeglass glare. We’ll even brighten your smile a bit if we need to, and we won’t charge you a penny extra. Facial retouching is included in all of our portraits. We can even remove your braces if you want us to (but there is a small charge for that).
Fun: We know you want to have fun—after all, life is far too short for boring. We became photographers because we have fun creating great photographs. So, we’re going to everything we can to make sure you have a great time getting your senior portraits with us. From taking care of all your questions beforehand to great locations and a good time during your session (and yes, we encourage you to bring a friend or parent to help you and be your “person” during the session) to great portrait choices after the session, Marie Leslie Photography is all about making your senior portraits a memorable event.

Not only do we give you lots of session choices, but we are always on the lookout for new, cool ways to share and display your senior portraits. From updated wallets to albums to blankets to metals and art papers, we have dozens of portrait sharing choice for you. We even give you e-files of every pose your order so you can share them online, too.

If you are unhappy with your previews for any reason, just let us know within 24 hours and we will re-shoot your portraits or refund your session fees and down payments.
